Nancy Arledge took her first riding lesson at the Paddock Stables, formerly Middleground Stables, at the age of 5. In July 1995, Nancy came full circle when she and her husband Bryan purchased the barn its surrounding property. She combines an excellent education from The Ohio State University with decades of first-hand experience to teach and train students of all ages and all levels. Nancy’s roots are deep in hunters and huntseat equitation, but years ago she branched out to assist in various organizations such as the Interscholastic Equestrian Association, where she serves as president, 4-H, and Pony Club. In addition, Nancy also teaches those with little riding experience riders safe horsemanship, riding, and even driving hitch horses. Nancy has enjoyed much success in the hunter, jumper, and equitation rings, culminating in her various awards, honors, and accomplishments listed below:
